  1. I love this. Thanks to my father’s insistence on perfect English, I really could pronounce the whole thing. Verse rhythm and all. Why was my father such a perfectionist? Because he didn’t like being criticized for his accent when he first came to the US (many years ago now) so he set out to outdo his critics. A form of non-violent battle, I guess.

    Anyway, thanks for this. And to people for whom English is a second language, I admire you more than I can say ..
