“The Moment After”

The Moment After

When all love’s flurries are twirling

and the dewy mist of cologne

that existed has faded,

Moisten me with wet, soft lips,

Like the new morning mist,

The moment after,

Sooth gently, and pleasingly, with

silky, smooth movements,

With your brazen, rapturous form,

Soul, spirit, mind and emotions

expressing oneness,

Caressing and giving all,

The moment after,

Wooing and gentle,

Fervent and comforting,

Then with powerful stirring movements,

Ignite passions as if unearthing yearnings,

As if being released from a heart

that waited ever so daringly starved

Of love so very, very, long,

As if of a soul that has just been granted

The privilege of swimming in oceans of

Pure, blissful, affectionate, gentle love,

Underneath the fairest, velvet,

scenic covering sky,

Reaching and pleasing,

Preferred, enamored seductiveness,

Tender and heart yielding,

The moment after,

Passionate, true moments are what I

want as due,

The scene of some unskilled romeo

is not the thrill,

Pretending to be there,

Masquerading care,

Forsake the dreadful, useless charades,

It is only, really, two heart beats that are

Never waste a pure heart of love,

This is rare,

Love is not found or shared in everyone,

Broken hearts lie everywhere,

Each moment of true love shared,

Is a gift given,

Open it with delicate care,

Look sweetly upon and insulate

smitten memories there in,

Be fond of with benevolence,

The moment after you are granted my pure

Love me ever more,

Dote upon and adore,

The moment after,

The moment after.

  1. So beautiful…I can just fall in love with the feeling you create through your words….beauty…:)

  2. “With your brazen, rapturous form” – this and so many other lines truly strike a chord of meaning when thinking of the one I love at moments like this. Well put!

  3. I am writing about moment, instant…before…after…you write so well!…yesterday the church service was very good…the chrystian way…radical…let me know if you know the origin of the names of the musical notes…

  4. That’s lovely. In it’s truth, complexity, spirit, and emotion spun by your use of the common words of our language. It proves that words when put together turns out just right.

  5. I love the calm way you build up the scenes with smooth and tender words. Your words and tone of expression sound so gentle and comforting. Did I just say ‘sound so gentle’? You see how real and close your poem came, I heard the melodious sounds and felt it’s soothing touch! Welldone.

  6. I love your blog specially when you write about healthy tips… very nice colors & theme. Did you create this website yourself or did you hire someone to do it for you? Plz answer back as I’m looking to design my own blog and would like to know where u got this from. thanks a lot
